| Club Tournaments |
For information
I have had a few comments from members saying that they did not know how to enter any of our events, and no forms were available. However if you look on our web site under events you will see a drop down list where you can enter any of them through the system.
Also all events have been publicised by being advertised in the newsletters, emailed
around, on the web site, and also on posters in the clubhouse.
I hope this information helps you the member.

| General News: News on Ashe |
Graham has just informed me of the following great news and I felt that the rest of the club should know of it.
Some good news!!
Yesterday Ashe was selected as a member of the team to represent Great Britain at the World Junior Outdoor Championships to be held in the USA in July. He was the only Recurve Cadet Man in his category to achieve the qualifying score at the Selection Shoot held over the weekend.
Saturday was a Fita Round shot in very challenging condition. On Sunday
Morning there was a Fita 720 followed by Head to Heads in the afternoon. As well as all the country's top Juniors competing for a place there were many top seniors shooting for a place at the World Senior Champs which takes place in Korea later in the year.

Yes, it is here at last
The application form and information sheet for Dunster 2009 is on the Grand Western Archery Society web pages.
Also the Somerset County Archery Society entry form is available. If you can't find it drop me an e-mail and I will send it to you.
The big question is will you be there?

| Well done Ashe |
I have just heard some wonderful news about Ashe from Graham Williams. Ashe has been selected to shoot for Great Britain at the Junior Europa Cup which takes place in Poland in May.
Congratulations to Ashe for all the hard work and dedication he has put into the sport. Let's all wish him luck in May.
