COUNTY SELECTION AND RANKING At the GAS Management committee meeting on 27th Jan 2010, it was decided to establish a County ranking list. Archers who wish to be considered are required to submit their best scores, by 15th August 2010, to John Godfrey, County Records Officer. IT IS THE RESPOBSIBILITY OF INDIVIDUAL ARCHERS WISHING TO BE CONSIDERED TO ENSURE THAT THIS HAPPENS. Team selection will be decided by the Team Manager, CCO, County Records Officer and two others to be co-opted as required. Attached is a form to be used to submit the scores. Forms will also be available (in limited supplies) at tournaments around the county. There will also be some forms in the Clubhouse. |

LACEY TROPHY Wed 14th July This trophy, which is in the form of a miniature bow, was made for the Gloucestershire Archery Soc. by Tony Lacy, a past president, to encourage inter-club competition. It is a postal shoot and all bow types are included, as results are based on handicaps. Each club participating nominates one evening in July to shoot a Long National for gentlemen and a National round for ladies and juniors. The trophy is awarded to the winning club at the County AGM later in the year. Cheltenham Archers will shoot on Wed 14th July at 6.30pm at Oakleaf Field. Open to all club members, so please come along , whether you have a handicap or not, and enjoy the shoot. |
