INDOOR SHOOTING STARTS MONDAY 4TH OCTOBER

At Christ`s College, Arle Road, Cheltenham. 7.00pm to 9.00pm. Mondays and Fridays.

Juniors on Saturday mornings.

Adult tickets £3.00 per session. Juniors £2.00 Can be purchased on the night.

Please note there will be NO SHOOTING on the following dates Mon 8th Nov, Mon 29th Nov 2010

Mon 21 Mar 2011.

Sat 11th Sept Gloucester Junior County Championships at Oak Leaf Field

Field will be closed all day except for juniors shooting in the tournament.

ADULTS ARE INVITED TO ENTER AND SHOOT IN THE AFTERNOON.

Field Party needed to “set up” Fri 10th Sept at 6.00pm. Please e-mail gday.valerie@talktalk.net if you can help. (or just turn up).

Sunday 19th September Final Bow Meeting Assembly at 1.45pm.

Field Party to set up same day from noon onwards.

Sunday 3rd Oct Mixed Hereford Competition.

Field Party to set up at 12.00 noon Sat 2nd, after Juniors session has finished.

Wednesday 29th September Annual General Meeting 7.00pm in the Club House.

Dates For Next Beginners Courses (Indoors): 25 Oct to 29 Nov 2010 and 31 Jan to 6 Mar 2011. Application forms available under Beginners Section.

Clout Shooting

At the last Committee Meeting the possibility of using Oak Leaf Field for Clout Shooting was explored.

Unfortunately, it was concluded that our field contours with the close proximity of Public Rights of Way and Foot Paths, would make it impossible to hold a Clout Shoot safely.

The project has therefore been abandoned.

As of 2 Sept 2010, there are now 111 paid up Members of Cheltenham Archers

Anyone having trouble purchasing “approved” trousers for shooting in tournaments, might like to know Regatta Stores, Gloucester Quays, Gloucester carries a full range that is suitable.
